I hate these know it all reeanctors. They think they're superior beings because they can tell you the name of the press operator who stamped the eyelets in their raincape, when, in actual fact, they are inadequate walts, trying to compensate for having no friends and no life.

Scaley, who I'm sure you remember never has any money, has bought his son two full loadouts that he can't use properly until he's 18....in three years time:

Don't forget, he's boycotted CiA events Steve (without actually having the bollocks to tell us!). Also, he's not only bought loads of kit for his sprog but , a deactivated SMLE as well! I really must try being as skint as him - he buys more stuff than I do!

I think Nige and Gadge are in some sort of competition - 'Who can fritter away the money they don't have'. Currently Nige is winning I think.

Stop press: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=383&view=unread#unread Gadge is hitting back...

Fuck banning them, can't we just kill them?

When we were a Kingdom it was run by a King
When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........

A first for Spiers!

It might have been!!!

Nar, it was spur of the moment, just happened to ask the driver if I could hope on when he was going for a spin! The picture wasn't my priority and there was nowhere I could put the life preserver, don't think it detracts from the picture if I'm honest...I'm sure there will be other opinions on it...

I see Mikoyan's Burma sisk has been cancelled now. The current situation, with cancelled games and low player numbers reminds me of this time last year!

Well, I did warn him.

Plus, August (and specifically factory fortnight) is a terrible time to run a game.

I have my brother's 30th Birthday to attend. So i cant make it, and as Pat has mentioned most of our group is away in Spain filming until mid November. So some of us remaining members are taking the time to pursue other genre's.

So no boycotting here.

Something about this doesn't ring true to me.

Filming is an extremely expensive process and a production will never take people abroad if they don't need to (only key cast, never extras), especially for weeks on end...they'd take locals and give them the uniforms. Now, I'm assuming that they're filming as extras as none of them are professional actors.

This is all a bit fishy.

Its true   - (well, except the 'most' bit). Its Doug and Aitch that are going in a professional capacity as they are skilled technicians behind the camera, not in front.

Fatarse's post implies that cock company are away filming as cock company, when, in actual fact, it's most likely those among them who are in the film industry as their day jobs. Fatboy just says it like he does to try to sound good, because he's a fat, semi unemployed, friendless, dickless, spineless fucktard.

Who cares if they aren't coming to Devil's Hill? They are ALL a bunch of wankers and have proved it time and again with their posts and campfire comments. Our events are better for the lack of cock company and, always will be. :happydance:

Perhaps we're missing the subtext here. He says that "most of DC are away filming". Perhaps Doug and Aitch are most of Dog Company...

Ah,here you go: "3 in Spain at present and I'm (Aitch) in Serbia". I'd say those four are the core of Dog Co, the rest are peripheral.

:giggle:

I'm afraid I can't get at all enthusiastic about encouraging youngsters or 'the new generation of ww2 airsofters' as some have blabbed on about elsewhere. They are always enthusiastic for 5 minutes or bugger off with more pressing things like buying a car, chasing skirt, going to uni etc etc.

No, I'm convinced this isn't where the long term interests of the genre lay - it is always with those with spare cash, spare time and dedication to commit, and that isn't under 18's!!
